Acne



Vinegar & Garlic 

Mince fresh garlic and add to 1/2 cup white vinegar. Use cotton ball and apply to the face.  Let sit for 10 minutes.  Wash with warm water.  Vinegar and garlic are used in many home remedies.  This mixture can help control acne.   

Tomato Puree, Lemon Juice, Cayenne Pepper 

Puree 2 fresh tomatoes or use canned puree and add 1/8 cup lemon juice. Add a dash of cayenne pepper.  Mix together to form a paste.  Apply to the face.  Let sit for 10-20 minutes.  Wash with warm water. 

Change Soaps and Use Luke Warm Water (Try it!)

Use luke warm water instead of hot water when washing your face...especially in the winter months.  This sounds so simple, but it can make a HUGE difference.  Changing soaps can also make a world of difference. TIP: Find a natural homemade soap at a local flee market or country festival, and give it a try.  You might be amazed at the results!!     If you must have a name brand soap, switch it up and try a different brand for at least three days.   

 Yogurt & Oatmeal

Mix natural yogurt and oatmeal into a thick paste.  Apply to face and let it dry.  Wash with warm water.  This is one of many simple acne home remedies to try.

Lime Juice

Apply lime juice to the face using a cotton ball.  Let sit for 10 minutes. Wash with warm water.  Avoid eyes.  Lime juice is a simple and fast remedy for the treatment of acne.

Toothpaste

Using a Q-tip, Apply a dab of toothpaste directly onto the pimple.  Let dry overnight.  Wash face in the morning with warm water.

Lemon Juice & Cinnamon

Mix 1 tsp. lemon juice with 1 tsp. cinnamon powder.  Apply to face.  Leave on for 15 minutes.  Wash face with warm water.

Egg Whites & Corn Flour

Mix 3 egg whites with enough corn flour to make a paste.  Apply to face for 30 minutes and then wash with warm water.  This is one of many effective home remedies for acne.

 

Acne Home Remedies using Fruit:

Papaya or Mango

Apply juice of a fresh papaya or mango, including the skin and seeds, to the face.  Let sit for 10 minutes and wash off with warm water.  Many natural fruits are great cures for acne symptoms.

Lemon Juice

Apply freshly squeezes lemon juice to the face using a cotton ball.  Let sit for 10 minutes. Wash with warm water.  Avoid eyes. 

 

More Effective Acne Home Remedies:

Milk & Nutmeg

Add some ground nutmeg powder to warm milk and mix together.  Apply to face and leave on for 1 hour.  Wash off with warm water.

Honey & Cinnamon

Add some cinnamon powder to honey and mix together.  Apply to face and leave on over night.  Wash off with warm water in the morning.  This is a top acne home remedy.

Tomatoes, Oatmeal, Honey

Slice up 2 ripe tomatoes in fine sections.  Add oatmeal, and honey to the ripe tomatoes.  Mix/mash into a paste.  Apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes.   Wash off with warm water.  These ingredients are helpful in the treatment of acne.

Water & Vinegar

Make a 5 to 1 part mixture of water and apple cider vinegar (5 tablespoons of water to 1 tablespoon of vinegar).  After washing face with soap and water, dip cotton ball or make-up pad in mixture and apply to face or acne area.  Let dry.  These ingredients are helpful in  controling ance.

Things to Avoid for Acne Free Skin: 

Alcohol and Caffeine

Avoid or drink sparingly alcoholic and caffeinated beverages.  If you must indulge, drink extra water to keep skin hydrated. 

Itching

Try not to itch problem areas.  This will only make matters worse.  Use one of our home remedies to coat the skin.

I stopped all dairy product & as suggest benzac cream by doctor http://www.canadiandrugsaver.com/acne/benzac-ac_310.html - My face cleared up. lemon juice works to dry out acne. I apply lemon juice to my pimples with a q-tip.
